Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has caused pandemonium online during a fan Q&A on Twitter by teasing an upcoming DC Comics project. He didn’t offer too many details about it but, just so you know, not few are those who are hoping right now for a The Rock superhero movie next.

Before we too jump on that bandwagon (you just know The Rock would do a terrific job at it!), let’s see the tweet in question.

“We just had a big meeting w/ Warner Bros CEO re: @DCComics 2014 we will partner up and create the cool bad assery. #RockTalk,” he wrote.

Now for the facts: this doesn’t necessarily mean that he’ll be in a comic book inspired movie, because he could also be referring to a related project, like a game or some other feature.

Some time ago, he was attached to play Lobo in a film but things didn’t pan out and the project was dropped altogether. The Rock was also rumored to play Black Adam in a Shazam movie. Right now, various voices online are also saying that The Rock might be in talks to get his own DC superhero movie or that he might be circling a role in Zack Snyder’s “Man of Steel” sequel, “Batman vs. Superman.”

If the latter turns out to be true, he will probably play Green Lantern, it is being said, completely off the record (of course). Just this week, Denzel Washington was believed to be up for the Green Lantern role.
