“Now it’s time for them to pay... deer-ly!”

For the past couple of years, Disney has been making a fortune turning its most famous cartoons into live-action blockbusters, to the point where industry people are talking about a new “trend.” There are even more films of this kind to come, including a Dumbo one, with director Tim Burton at the helm.

In 2016, Bambi will also get a feature film, starring none other than Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Bambi was so traumatized by his mother’s death, that he focused all his energy on getting in shape and receiving special training, so he’s now the perfect guy to go after the evil men who killed his mother.

He and his team will wage an all-out war against hunters who kill for pleasure, because someone has to stand up for the innocent animals living in the woods.

“Bambi” the “movie” was a skit included on the latest episode of Saturday Night Live, which The Rock hosted, as part of the promo trail for “Furious 7,” in which he stars.

This is why his team is made up of his “Furious” co-stars, Vin Diesel (Taran Killam) starring as Thumper, Michelle Rodriguez (Cecily Strong) as Faline aka “the girl Bambi,” and Tyrese Gibson (Jay Pharoah) as Flower.

Ludacris (also Pharoah) makes an appearance as well, to debut his brand new song, “Wham Bam Bambi.”

This looks so good that half of the Internet is already convinced they’d pay money to see it in theaters. What about you?
