Dwayne Johnson has been “loosely attached” to the big-screen adaptation of the TV series that made all teenaged boys tune in religiously in the early ‘90s, “Baywatch.” It seems the actor is going to be running in slow motion in red bathing suit on the big screen in no time.

The Hollywood Reporter claims that Paramount has already started working on the movie and the comedy is being written by Sean Anders and John Morris, who previously worked on “We're the Millers.”

While it's still not confirmed if Dwayne is going to appear in the movie, it does appear like the movie is going to keep a close similarity with the original TV series and it will take place on a stretch of beach in California.

The “Hercules” actor has still the “Fast & Furious 7” movie in the works, with the first trailer ready to be launched soon. Actors involved in the process are claiming that the movie has a lot of potential, and initial screenings of some of the footage have made people claim that it is “incredible.”

It was previously reported that the comedy will also star John Cleese as the villain, and some of the original actors from the series, such as David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson.
