Actor “The Rock” has certainly managed to rock this year in the international box office. Forbes Magazine

just named him the highest grossing actor of 2013.

While he didn't have the highest grossing movie of the year, Dwayne Johnson managed to stay on top of the list by appearing in several successful movies.

His best outing was undoubtedly the summer hit “Fast & Furious 6,” followed by “G.I. Joe: Retaliation” and two somewhat smaller films. Together, they managed to bring in $1.3 billion (€ 944.8 million) at the box office.

By comparison, the actor coming in on second place, Robert Downey Jr., starred in only one film this year “Iron Man 3.” But because it was the highest grossing cinematic production of the year, it lands Downey Jr. right behind Johnson, with just $100 million less, making the grand total $1.2 billion (€872.1 million).

At number three comes comedian Steve Carrell with his “Despicable Me 2,” the second most successful film of the year. He managed to earn for the studio $964 million (€700.6 million).

“Fast & Furious” helped not only Dwayne Johnson to get into the list of highest grossing actors, but also fellow cast-member Vin Diesel, who is ranked on the number four position with $887 million (€644.6 million).

The first woman on the list is Sandra Bullock, who is listed at number five with her $862 million (€626.4 million) thanks to the movie “Gravity.”

The rest of the list is made up of the late Paul Walker at number six with $789 million (€573.4 million), Billy Crystal at number seven with $743 million (€539.1 million), John Goodman at number eight, also with $743 million (€539.1 million), Chris Hemsworth at number nine with $701 million (€509.4 million) and the lovely Jennifer Lawrence at number ten with $700 million (€508.7 million).
