The crooks try to get away with a credit card number and a PIN number

An email that pretends to be an account activation message from Radobank was seen spamming inboxes in the past few days.

Coming from an email address that looks something like [email protected], the scam, for now, only targets Dutch speakers who are urged to activate their accounts, reports Mxlabs.

The message also comes with an attachment representing an HTML form that tries to replicate a webpage belonging to Radobank. In this form the victim is requested to fill in all sorts of details, including name, phone number, credit card number, ATM PIN and password.

If you come across this message, delete it immediately, and if you’ve just realized that you already fell for the scam, make sure to change your online banking password and alert the bank to make sure your account is closely monitored for any suspicious activities.
