Dust 514 Gets Weapons Heavy Developer Diary

The development team at CCP is giving fans of Dust 514 a chance to take a closer look at the weapons that the shooter MMO will use via a new developer diary, with Thomas Farrer, one of the developers, offering details on the tools of destruction that will be available on launch.

Dust 514 will see the player create a character that will be able to take on jobs in the same universe as the space-based title EVE Online.

Gamers will go into battle in order to gain ISK, salvage and experience, which allows them to upgrade their soldiers and get access to new items.

At the moment, Dust 514 is in closed beta stage and a full launch is expected at some point during 2013, exclusively on the PlayStation 3.
