The development team at Turbine announces that it will soon add a Player Council to its MMO Dungeons & Dragons Online, in order to make sure that the community is involved in the long term development of the product.

All those who are interested can apply for membership at the moment and the studio will select those who are worthy and will announce the full list of included gamers on January 27.

As soon as it is formed the Player Council for Dungeons & Dragons Online will be able to offer feedback and suggestions, although Turbine is not under any obligation to actually implement them in the MMO, according to the forums.

The Lord of the Rings Online has a similar imitative and CCP is also well known for working closely with players on its own EVE Online.

Dungeons & Dragons Online has a number of content updates planned to launch in 2014.
