The 3D battle-RPG is the first free-to-play Dungeons & Dragons game for mobile

Soon, owners of Android and iOS devices will be able to enjoy a new highly appealing game, as DeNA/Mobage has announced the upcoming availability of Dungeons & Dragons: Arena of War for them.

The mobile version of the title will be free-to-play, and will bring along an interesting experience to all users, the trailer that can be seen embedded above unveils.

As cultofandroid notes, Arena of War, said to be the first ever free-to-play Dungeons & Dragons game for mobile, will come with collectible card gaming, which should make enthusiasts happy.

“Set in the Forgotten Realms, Arena of War features iconic D&D locations such as Baldur’s Gate and monsters such as the Beholder. The live events in the yearlong Sundering event will evolve in the game giving an ever-changing experience to players,” DeNA said in the press release.

The 3D battle-RPG was developed by DeNA in partnership with Wizards of the Coast. Users can already pre-register for the game on this page.
