The adventures in Dungeon Lords are set in a fantasy world on the brink of collapse thanks to an evil wizard. It is an enjoyable combination of RPG and action-fighting elements that benefits from the presence of all the fictional creatures that we got so used to lately - elves, goblins, dwarves and dragons. Too bad the first release version was so packed up with bugs, because once you put on all the patches, the game becomes notably appealing. The battles are fun and the character's advancement system allows a good customization that will get you the dream champion.
The captivating story will get you not only in the Circle of Mages, but also in a circle of troubles and intricacies. The great wizard, Galdryn of the Meadows, has been slain by a deadly conspiracy within the Circle of Mages. His chief ally, Lord Davenmor, now struggles to save his kingdom from the dark forces of the conspiracy and the onslaught of Lord Barrowgrim's army of marauders. Lord Davenmor has promised his daughter's hand in marriage to Lord Barrowgrim to quell the invasion, but her heart belongs to another and after learning of her father's pledge, she has vanished. Sensing treachery, Lord Barrowgrim has sent his army once more to destroy Lord Davenmor and raze the kingdom. Thus begins Dungeon Lords, Cry of the Kingdom Cracked, a tale of Love, Hate, Betrayal, Revenge, Honor, and Evil...
With a plot like this, who wouldn't need a helpful hand? Here are some tips for you to use during combat.
Attacking
Especially when you are facing a single opponent it is very useful to execute a forward combo. The whole idea is to press W to move forward just before starting your series of attacks. On the other hand, when facing multiple opponents, you could successfully attempt some side attacks. To execute a left combo, just press A to move to the left when you start your series of attacks. The same way you could also execute a right combo by pressing D instead. Need a chop? Nothing easier. Press S to move back just as you start your attacks series.
Evading
If the opponents are on to you, keep in mind that you can put those acrobatics figures you practiced for so long to good use. Need a back flip? Just back away and jump (space). If on the contrary you need a forward roll, simply click forward two times. There are also two ways to go sideways. You could easily leap sideways by pressing left or right and jumping or you could execute another of your rolls by clicking left or right two times.
Infinite cash
Marking money was never this easy. The only thing required is that you play as an Elf character (male or female, it makes no difference) and have at least 2000 Gold along. You could easily get an infinite amount of money the second you walk into Arindale. Just walk to the Weapons Shop and talk to the shopkeeper. Chat around until you find an option that says Treasures. Tell him you will pay him 2000 Gold for the sword. Close the talk dialog box, and open it back up. A new option will now be available right underneath Trade. Click this to receive 500 Gold for returning the Elven Sword of Flames. But what do you know? The option is still there! You can click on it as many times as you want to receive 500 Gold each time. Since there is no limit to how long you can borrow the Elven Sword of Flames, you can enlarge your fortune anytime you wish.
