14 DAY TRIAL // We reported earlier this month that Gameloft planned to launch the fifth instalment in the Dungeon Hunter series on March 12. However, it looks like the game was released one day earlier for Android and iOS users.
As expected, Windows Phone users will have to wait slightly longer to get the game, as Gameloft hasn't published Dungeon Hunter 5 in Windows Phone Store yet.
The game is available for free, but it features in-app purchases, so keep that in mind if you plan to lend your device to your friends to play Dungeon Hunter 5.
Gameloft has been improving the graphics of its Dungeon Hunter series with each game launched and the fifth instalment is no exception to the rule.
According to developers, Dungeon Hunter 5 features superior graphics that should “provide the most stunning fantasy gameplay experience possible on a mobile game.” Assuming that your smartphone can take advantage of the new graphics improvements, of course.
Single and coop gameplay, as well as lots of armors and weapons to craft
As a hack 'n' slash, action RPG, dark fantasy game, Dungeon Hunter 5 offers both single-player campaign and cooperative gameplay.
Asynchronous multiplayer is integrated as well, so players will be able to customize their Guild Stronghold with a wide range of monster minions, manage and defend it, and slash their way through opponent Strongholds to ravage their loot.
Players will also be able to craft their own armor and weapons without any restrictions. There are five Elements that you will be able to master: water, fire, light, dark and nature.
The game also features Daily and Weekly Events, which reward demon hunter skills with unique materials to upgrade and fuse their gear.
You can now download Dungeon Hunter 5 for Android, iOS for free via Google Play store and App Store, respectively.
The game should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 4.0 and up, as well as iPhone, iPad and iPod touch with iOS 7.0 or later.
