Exploring the dungeons is something RPG fans have always loved, especially if these dungeons are filled with hundreds of monsters ready to feel the wrath of your sword or the power of your spells. Hudson seems to know that, since their announced action RPG is called Dungeon Explorer Warriors of Ancient Arts - and they surely didn't name it this way just to be catchy.

Here are some of the features for the DS version:

- the story takes place centuries after the events of the PSP version, as a legend foretells of a hero who will rise to face the threat
- players find themselves in a land plagued by a legion of undead, monstrous soldiers
- commanded by the Demon God, the Evil Menace is determined on bringing Westoria Kingdom to its final days
- rediscover the lost Ancient Fighting Arts of Westoria in order to restore peace to a once sprawling and vibrant kingdom
- 60 different fighting arts across 8 lost Ancient Fighting Art schools,
- become a skilled warrior to successfully wage battle against dangerous enemies
- three players can join forces to battle the Demon god's minions via Nintendo's Wireless Connection.

All in all, a very interesting title which delivered a truly wonderful gaming experience for the Nintendo DS. Here are a couple of things to help you while playing this interesting game.

UNLOCKABLES

Hard mode

Successfully complete the game. After the ending, go to Lake Temple and look at the well. You will be prompted to start a new journey. Do so to begin a new game session in Hard mode.

HINTS

Mario reference

When you talk to the kid with the orange hat in the rift, he will say, "A thief passing by said that he ran into two mustached guys looking for Princess Pineapple or something like that, and to look out for Boo or he will steal your coins". The two people that the thief ran into were Mario and Luigi and they were looking for Princess Peach. In the Mario series of games, Boo would steal your coins if you ran into him.
