14 DAY TRIAL // Staples, one of Microsoft’s partners in the United States that are currently selling both the Surface RT and the Surface Pro, is now offering a $400 (€307) discount for any Windows 8 touch computer you buy.
There’s a catch, however. Those who want to receive the $400 Visa prepaid card need to trade in their old computer or tablet, be it a MacBook or an old Windows PC.
Staples claims that it will offer at least $100 (€77) for any computer that you agree to trade in, but you could get up to $400 if you’re ready to give up your MacBook Pro less than four years old, a MacBook Air or a notebook sporting an Intel i7 or AMD FX processor.
The good news is that both the Surface RT and the Surface Pro are included in the campaign, so you can cut almost half of the standard price of a Pro tablet if you agree to trade in your home computer.
