3D Realms admits screwing up on DNF. Now they're even launching it on more than just the PC plaftorm

Hundreds of rumors and mishaps surrounded Duke Nukem Forever. 3D Realms admitted raising the bar a bit too high with the game, through studio CEO Scott Miller who talked to YouGamers: "First, we fully admit we're screwed up the development of DNF, and it's now an industry joke. I laugh when I think about it, too. Our fault is that we set the bar too high, and we tried too hard to make the game to beat all games," said Miller in the interview. "In the last 18 months we've taken a much more realistic look at the project, we've hired a truckload of experienced help, and I personally believe we are now on the right track&finally."

OK, after admitting that DNF has proven over the years to be a total screw up on 3D Realms' behalf, the CEO is proud to announce without a doubt that not only will the game finally ship in the nearby future, but it will also be a multiplatform title: "The plan is definitely to bring DNF to multiple platforms. We have not announced which ones, yet." We weren't hoping for that, we'll be very happy if the game even launches as you say. Not saying that we don't believe it's finally coming either, but just let's see the game, we've been waiting for it for more than a decade now.

There is also the rumor according to which Duke Nukem Forever will also be Vista compatible, but again that remains to be heard from 3D Realms' mouth. That's too much for just one game that hasn't even a decent trailer. The only thing the world has ever seen in relation to the game is a small screenshot (a gif image not larger than 180 by 135 pixels), whom someone used as an avatar a few months ago. 3D Realms stated that it was in-game and the world exploded with faith that the game would soon launch. What do you know? It's true after all. Click on the picture to enlarge to that high quality and amazingly "huge" 180X135 screenshot.
