Maybe a new trailer for Duke Nukem Forever, too...please?

It's rumor time again, as we're getting closer and closer to finally witnessing the moment when the Duke descends upon us, in his next-gen adventure. Till that time comes, we might have a third degree encounter with the FPS macho number one bully in the classic Duke Nukem 3D, which seemingly will hit the Xbox Live Arcade, according to a bunch of Internet rumors.

Of course that sources from 3D Realms were mentioned and the port is more likely coming, but there's no certain release date for now. In case you can't remember, Duke Nukem 3D was released in 1996, on the PC, in its original version and it became a classic of the genre, specially thanks to Duke and his cool and macho lines. Speaking of which, you'll surely love to know that we're getting closer to the game's 12th birthday, so that may be a sign that the title will be released on that day.

Duke was so cool that his one-liners were used by the famous metal band Megadeth in one of their songs. Come to think about it, their singer's voice resembles the tone and masculinity of Duke's voice, who, in turn reminds me of a combination between Rambo and Bruce Willis. Seeing Duke Nukem 3D available on XBLA this month is an utopia, specially if we take into consideration the fame of this title for taking so LONG to produce. If a sequel like Duke Nukem Forever took ... forever to develop, I guess that a port of the man's 3D adventures will take at least an year or two to produce.

OK, 3D Realms...we'll do with yet another trailer of the next-gen game surfacing on January 29th, Duke Nukem 3D's birthday, as long as it lasts longer than 1 minute and shows some gameplay footage...
