Duel Masters: Limited Edition is a videogame developed by High Voltage Software, Inc. and published by Atari Inc. The game was released exclusively on the PlayStation 2 console from Sony on November 5, 2004. It is classed as a strategy card title played from a third person perspective.

Duel Masters is a trading card game created by Wizards of the Coast and has proven significant enough to actually get a console version. In Japan, it has a manga and an anime version based on the property but in North America, it is being built as a sort of more humorous alternative to Magic: The Gathering. A Duel Masters show ran on Cartoon Network and the card game has also been somewhat successful. Of course, the Japanese version is much better developed and complex.

Players will get cards representing monsters and special abilities they need to employ in order to take out the enemy. Most of the monsters have the ability to evolve depending on the situation, allowing players to actually create more powerful minions as the turns go by. One of the major complaints relative to the game experience has been that there are just 139 cards included in the package, meaning that the encounters tend to become repetitive after a while and the tactics are not varied enough. Initially, there were promises of expansions introducing new cards, but they never materialized.
