Many a television series has come to an end or had to make significant changes to the cast because of money issues, and the same could also happen to the hit A&E reality show “Duck Dynasty,” it has emerged.

The Hollywood Reporter has learned that the cast of the show are holding back negotiations with the network for a fourth season by asking for a huge salary bump.

Since negotiations are stalling, we might as well assume that the network isn’t exactly playing along.

“The Robertson family, including brothers Phil and Si and Phil's sons, have seen their outdoorsman empire Duck Commander earn a small fortune thanks in part to notoriety from the hit reality series,” THR says.

“Now they have banded together and – represented by WME – are angling to renegotiate their existing contracts,” the same publication writes.

The family wants $200,000 (€156,140) more for each episode of season 4. Once that wrapped, each new season should bring further raises.
