14 DAY TRIAL // Phil Robertson is one of the stars on A&E’s hit reality series “Duck Dynasty.” He often said that the series downplayed the family’s religious beliefs, but they become apparent in the video above.
It emerged online just recently but no one seems to know when it was shot. What is certain is that it is getting everyone talking about it.
Robertson appears to be holding a sermon on anti-abortion, being decidedly very passionate about how wrong it is to interrupt a pregnancy, whatever the reason.
“Listen, from the time you started inside your mother's womb, Thomas Jefferson had it right, you have the God-given right to live, for crying out loud. You're this long! You're a week old inside your mother. They suck you out of there when you're about like that,” he says.
He believes abortion should not even be a matter for debate, though he does agree with others who feel the same way as he does on that such a debate is a sign of our times – and proof that we’re on the path of perdition.
“We debate whether it's a – some woman has the right to tear you out of there, a piece at a time? C'mon! You have a God-given right to live. And of all places, inside your mother – what in the world happened to us?” Robertson asks.
