Salary dispute between the network and the stars of the show must be going well

“Duck Dynasty” pulled record ratings for A&E with the season 3 finale but, even so, the network did not announce a premiere date for the 4th season. Until now, that is.

Following countless reports that the stars of the show and the producers were locked in a bitter salary dispute, A&E has confirmed that season 4 is a go, and will premiere on August 14, MSN reports.

In other words, salary negotiations are going well. In other words (again), the Robertsons will most likely be getting the raise they have been asking for.

“The network announced Tuesday that the new season of ‘Duck Dynasty’ will debut Aug. 14. As an added bonus, Season 4 will include Alan Robertson, the beardless eldest son of Phil and Miss Kay and brother to Jase, Willie, and Jep,” MSN says.

As fans must know, Alan was never featured on the show but he always accompanies the other family members on promo tours.

It only made sense to include him on the series as well.
