Reality television family launches own line of firearms, in collaboration with Mossberg

There’s very little the Robertsons can’t do: reality television (and they’re very good at it, by the way), music, clothing and, as of late, guns. The family that became a household name thanks to the A&E reality series “Duck Dynasty” is coming out with their very own line of firearms.

The news is confirmed by Reality TV Magazine, which, somewhat unsurprisingly, links the availability of the guns to the recent controversy Phil Robertson landed himself in, thanks to a video showing him saying that men should marry 15- and 16-year-old girls.

“Bad publicity is still better than no publicity at all,” the trade e-zine says. That very well may be the case but, if you think about it, the Robertsons really don’t need the drama to sell anything because the public seems to love them no matter what they do and, implicitly, buy whatever product they put out.

“According to Mossberg, Duck Dynasty fans will appreciate the firearms’ waterfowl pattern, although not all of the guns are actually intended for duck hunting. What these firearms do hold in common (besides the Duck Commander label) is that they all come equipped with American flag bandannas — you know, Willie Robertson’s big fashion statement,” the aforementioned publication writes.

Above is a video from Tool Town & The Trading Post dating November 1, 2013, in which the new line of guns from the Robertsons are shown off.
