In case you missed last year’s royal baby frenzy that swept over the entire world, worry not, chances are we’re all in for a redo soon: Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, is pregnant with her second child, it has been confirmed.

Confirmation of the happy news is yet to come through the official channels but, apparently, not sharing it with the world is too much for some. Jessica Hay, who claims to be a good friend of Kate’s and who also spoke of her first pregnancy with the press long before Kate confirmed it, is spilling the beans in a new interview with an Australian publication, Radar Online informs.

She says everyone around Kate is thrilled that she’s about to give Prince George a little brother or sister, so it’s common knowledge already that she’s expecting. However, us mortals might have to wait a few more months before we get the official confirmation.

When Kate confirmed she was pregnant with Prince George just as the rumor mill was starting to pick up speed, she did it because she had to be rushed to the hospital because she was suffering from severe morning sickness.

In other words, even though she would have rather she said nothing, she had no other choice but to, because her secret would have been out of the bag soon.

This time, though, she has a smoother pregnancy and, Hay says, this means she might keep it a secret even after the first 3 months, when it’s generally considered safe to break the news.

“Kate’s inner circle are buzzing with the news that she is pregnant. I’ve heard it from several different friends of theirs now,” Hay says.

Until we hear it too from an official statement, we only have to know where to look, because all the signs are there, Hay insists. She’s basically inviting us to stalk her online, analyzing every inch of her body for tell-tale signs that she has a baby growing inside her.

“Kate’s face is fuller like it was when she was first expecting George and she’s been changing her hair, which could be to disguise the fullness. She has rosy cheeks, she’s letting her greys show again, and whenever she’s out in public she goes to great lengths to hold something over her tummy…,” the friend explains.

If you’re thinking of pointing out that this Hay person might not be such a close friend of Middleton as she claims to be, you’re probably right. No source close to the Duchess would actually reveal their name if they spilled the beans on the pregnancy with so much time in advance, when the Duchess clearly wants to wait some more.

However, that’s not to say she’s not onto something. After all, her inside knowledge proved sound with Kate’s first pregnancy, and she might be right on the money again. If that’s really the case, congratulations are in order.
