Gummy Bears passionate should take a look at the Amazon reviews for the sugar-free treats from Haribo before ingesting the sneaky little things. As customers claim on the product's review section, the ones who ate the sugarless sweets experienced some rather nasty side effects.

The negative feedback is completely and undeniably terrifying and it will make you stay away from gummy bears for a long period of time. Michael Rusch gathered some of the worst and most hilarious reviews on an article on Buzzfeed and pointed out what the treats can do to a person's digestive system.

From the label of the perfect gift for people you hate to the “gastrointestinal Armageddon,” the sweets were accused of “gluing people to the toilet seat” and causing incredibly painful cramps, and it actually didn't matter how many gummy bears they ate.

“What came out of me felt like someone tried to funnel Niagara Falls through a coffee straw,” one troubled customer wrote. The sugarless Haribo treats were described as explosive, pelvis-shaking, gas-causing, pain-inflicting but small and tasty challenges.

After a few customers gave the first negative reviews, others joined, backing up all of the above and adding even more horrible stories. “I was glued to the toilet seat […] I experienced Satan's fury from my rear.”

But a few daring and curious fellows decided to test the explosive treats and see if they are as bad as the reviews said. So, where better to test it, than at the workplace, together with a few other brave coworkers. “Brought them in yesterday morning and a bunch of the guys immediately downed a handful each. Within half an hour they were in the bathroom,” texting each other about the result of the experiment that was as bad as the reviews said.

The Amazon reviews gathered a lot of attention and people have been contacting the company in order to check if they are aware of the claims made regarding their product. Over 100 reviews were offered supporting the accusations that Haribo's sugar-free gummy bears are producing severe digestive issues.
