Burj Al Arab also offers an iMac in every one of its 202 guest rooms

Dubai’s Burj Al Arab, often touted as the world’s most luxurious hotel, is now offering each guest an ICE iPad encrusted in pure gold. As if offering its guests free iPads and iMacs during their stay wasn’t generous enough.

The luscious hotel prides itself on offering the best conditions, and for $1,525 / €1,176 a night, I wouldn’t settle for any less myself.

Manufactured by Gold & Co. London, the 24-karat iPads have been designed exclusively for Burj Al Arab, bearing the hotel’s logo and even their motto – “Stay Different” – which kind of complements Apple, or doesn’t, depending on your stance.

The tablets are the low-end 16GB WiFi version. If you’re asking why not 64GB + cellular, ask yourself this: what guest could possibly use up more storage space using an interactive customer experience (ICE) device that merely acts as a virtual concierge for hotel services?
