Good news for XOLO fans, as the Indian OEM is about to release a new phablet smartphone that seems to have been priced accordingly. XOLO Q2500 has been recently spotted on the company’s website with a Rs 14,999 ($250 / €180) outright price attached to it.

AndroidOS reports that the XOLO Q2500 is expected to go official in the next couple of days and is likely to be available through multiple online retailers across the country.

The smartphone will ship with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, which suggests that this is a mid-range handset rather than a high-end one. In addition, the XOLO Q2500 has been confirmed to come equipped with a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor inside, along with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of storage.

The main selling point of the XOLO Q2500 is the large 6-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution.

Aside from that, the phablet also packs an enhanced 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, as well as a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls.

XOLO Q2500 also offers dual-SIM support, microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB), and a high-capacity 3000 mAh battery that has yet to be rated by the manufacturer.
