We reported last week on the XOLO Q1010, another mid-range Android smartphone soon to arrive in India, but we did not have any details on price and availability.

Today, fonearena reports that the smartphone has been listed by major retailer Flipkart with a decent Rs 12,998 ($210 / €155) price tag attached to it. Apart from the low price, XOLO Q1010’s main selling point is the fact that it offers dual-SIM support.

Unfortunately for XOLO, the competition is fierce on the Indian smartphone market and lots of native OEMs manage to bring their products to very low prices, though they offer more than decent features.

As expected, the Q1010 ships with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and is likely to stay on this version until it is discontinued.

Android 4.2 Jelly Bean is now the standard for Indian mid-range smartphones, along with the dual-SIM support, which is why customers will have a hard time choosing their devices.

XOLO Q1010 does not stand out from other mid-range smartphones available in India, but it still offers decent features. It sports a large 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution and 295 ppi (pixel density).

This is one of the few strong points of the Q1010, as most mid-range handsets feature displays with much lower resolutions.

Furthermore, the device packs an enhanced 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus, LED flash, BSI sensor and video recording, while in the front, there’s a secondary 2-megapixel camera for video calls.

On the inside, the Q1010 comes equipped with a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor, a Mali 400MP2 graphics processing unit, 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory. Users will also be able to expand storage up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

Other highlights of the XOLO Q1010 include: HSDPA and HSUPA connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with A-GPS support, 3.5mm audio jack and 2250 mAh battery.
