No word on the price tag yet, but it will only be available in black

We reported a few days ago on the latest Android smartphone launched by XOLO in India, the A500 Club, aimed at music lovers. Today, we have new info on another handset that will soon hit shelves in India, the XOLO Q1010.

Spotted recently on the Indian company’s website by the folks over at fonearena, XOLO Q1010 is a mid-range Android smartphone that will probably be introduced within the next couple of days.

Although we don’t have any details on the smartphone’s price tag, XOLO revealed all info in its specs sheet, along with the fact that it will only be available in black color.

As expected, it offers dual-SIM with dual standby support and ships with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box.

This version of Android seems to have become the main focus of Indian OEMs lately, as lots of smartphones launched in the last couple of weeks run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

Furthermore, XOLO Q1010 is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor, which is complemented by a Mali 400MP2 graphics processing unit and 1GB of RAM.

The smartphone comes packed with 4GB of internal memory, but users can further expand storage up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

On the back, the XOLO Q1010 boasts an enhanced 8-megapixel photo snapper that features autofocus, LED flash, BSI sensor and full HD (1080p) video recording, while in the front there’s a secondary 2-megapixel camera for video calls.

Another strong point of the smartphone is the 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution and 295 ppi (pixel density).

Other highlights of the XOLO Q1010 include 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, along with GPS with A-GPS support, 3.5mm audio jack and 2250 mAh battery. Stay tuned for more details on the Q1010’s availability and pricing options.
