Indian company Videocon has just launched yet another two affordable Android smartphones, the A45 and A51. Both smartphones offer dual-SIM capability and are priced below Rs 10,000 ($185/€140).

According to fonearena, Videocon A45 and A51 are now available for purchase via Indian retailer Snapdeal for Rs 6,199 ($115/€85) and Rs 8,900 ($165/€125), respectively.

As we have mentioned earlier, the cheap handsets are packed with dual-SIM (GSM / GSM) capability with dual standby, allowing users to take calls on both SIMs.

It is also worth mentioning that both smartphones come with large 5-inch displays, which feature different resolutions.

For example, the A45 sports a 5-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution, whereas the A51 has a 5-inch FWGA display with 854 x 480 pixels resolution.

Software-wise, these Videocon smartphones are completely different. The A45 ships with Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system out of the box, while the A51 is powered by a newer Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform.

On the inside, Videocon A45 is equipped with a 1GHz single-core processor, 256MB of RAM, 512MB of internal memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 16GB).

The smartphone also comes with a mediocre 3.2-megapixel rear camera, a VGA front-facing camera, FM Radio, 3.5mm audio jack and 1,800 mAh Li-Ion battery.

Videocon A51 comes packed with a much better 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

On the back, the device sports a 5-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus and LED flash, while in the front, there’s a secondary VGA camera for video calls.

Other highlights of the A51 include: 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm audio jack and 2,000 mAh Li-Ion battery.

In the same piece of news, Videocon plans to launch more Android smartphones in the coming weeks, including A15, A47, A53 and A27i. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
