Good news for Windows Phone fans in Spain, as Prestitigio’s affordable smartphones powered by Microsoft’s mobile platform will make their debut in the country this summer.

WindowsPhoneApps.es reports that both Prestigio MultiPhone 8500 DUO and MultiPhone 8400 DUO will be available for purchase in Spain in July and August, respectively.

Prestigio has announced that they will go on sale in Europe for $235 (€170) and $115 (€85), respectively, but there’s no telling for how much they will be available in Spain.

Anyway, those who can’t wait to switch to Windows Phone or wish to upgrade from a lower device will be pleased to know that both Prestigio smartphones offer dual-SIM capability.

The better-featured of the two, the MultiPhone 8500 DUO, is equipped with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, a 5-inch IPS LCD HD (720p) capacitive touchscreen display, 1GB of RAM and dual cameras (8-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front-facing camera).

The MultiPhone 8400 DUO packs a much smaller 4-inch IPS display, a similar 1.2GHz quad-core processor, an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back and a secondary VGA camera in the front.

Customers will be able to choose from two color options, the classic white and black. Stay tuned for more details on the outright price and exact release date of the phones in Spain.
