Dual Sim mobile phones have always been a real thrill for many people, due to their practical nature. Tata Tele will bring the first such device on the handset market in India, with the launch of Samsung Duo.

What's the point in carrying around two mobile phones only to be able to have two connections at the same time, when you can benefit from this with the help of only one device? There are many people who need to use the services of two distinct operators, due to their work or social habits. Putting two SIMs in one mobile phone considerably eases this and shows its advantages, especially when considering the fact that you have to pay only for one device.

Who could surpass such a performance, especially when considering the fact that it has been a considerable success until now, especially in Asia? India will be getting its own such handset, with Tata Tele's release of the Samsung Duo.

The handset works with 1GSM and 1CDMA, 2GSM or 2CDMA numbers. That makes a highly useful variety, capable of responding to any telecom needs. It also packs a 1.3 megapixel camera and 2.2 inch TFT display. The camera is capable of taking images at an average quality and also has 10x digital zoom, as well as video recording performances.

Entertainment is provided through an integrated MP3 player, besides the camera. Samsung Duo also comes with Bluetooth connectivity and support for Word and PDF files. That sounds like the perfect device to respond to all basic needs of the user, having the Sual SIM tray as the cherry on top of it all. Moreover, the handset's calendar also packs the entire list of festivals, dates and important occasions for the people in India.

Samsung Duo has been launched in Mumbai for the price of Rs. 12,000, with no chances of reaching markets outside India.
