Dual-SIM Micromax A56 Superfone Ninja 2 Android Phone Goes on Sale in India

Regional handset manufacturer Micromax has just announced the immediate availability of the A50 Superfone Ninja sequel in India.

Dubbed Micromax A56 Superfone Ninja 2, the smartphone is now available for purchase via leading retailers across the country for only Rs 5,999 (110 USD or 85 EUR) off-contract.

The device offers dual-SIM capabilities, a mandatory feature in emerging markets such as India, as well as Micromax Voice Assistant AISHA.

The A56 Superfone Ninja 2 is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform and packs 256 MB of RAM, along with microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

Furthermore, the handset is equipped with a low-performance 800 MHz single-core processor and sports a decent 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 320 x 480 pixels resolution. There’s also a 3-megapixel camera on the back and a 1400 mAh battery.
