Indian OEM Lava Mobiles has just released yet another entry-level Android smartphone, the Iris 350m. For the time being, the handset is only available for purchase via India Times Shopping for Rs 3,325 ($55 / €40) outright, but we expect it to go on sale at other authorized retailers as well very soon.

Lava Iris 350m is a budget-friendly smartphone that ships with Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box. On the more positive side, it provides dual-SIM capability with dual standby support.

When it comes to hardware, Lava Iris 350m offers decent enough specs for such a low price. The phone is equipped with a 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM and 512MB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

The Iris 350m sports a rather small 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 320 x 480 pixels resolution and 2-megapixel rear-facing camera. The phone lacks a secondary camera for selfies and video calls, as well as 3G support.

However, it offers EDGE connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and microUSB 2.0. Lava Iris 350m is powered by a small capacity 1200 mAh Li-Ion battery, which has yet to be rated by the manufacturer.
