Android fans will be happy to know that South Korean company LG has just introduced another budget-friendly Android smartphone, the LG L65.

The dual-SIM version has been released in Russia today and customers can pick this one up for just 7,490 Ruble outright, which is about $205 or €150, fonearena reports.

This version might be launched in other countries as well, but we’re not sure when and where yet. The single-SIM LG L65 popped up online yesterday via @evleaks, but no additional information on the phone’s specs was unveiled at that time.

The L65 seems to be one of the many smartphones to come in the L Series III, LG’s new family of mid-range Android handsets. LG announced the L40, L70 and L90 a few days ahead of Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014 trade fair, back in February.

There aren’t any impressive features included in the LG L65, but that is understandable given its target. The smartphone is an entry-level Android smartphone that is likely to be introduced in several emerging markets by the end of the month.

Apart from the fact that it comes in two variants, single and dual SIM, there shouldn’t be any differences between the two models specs-wise.

LG L65 is equipped with a decent enough for a budget-friendly smartphone 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, which is complemented by an Adreno 302 graphics processing unit.

Surprisingly, the handset comes with no less than 1GB of RAM and ships with Android 4.4 KitKat operating system out of the box, which is definitely one of LG L65’s selling points.

Furthermore, the smartphone packs 4GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

On the back, LG L65 features a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash, autofocus and video recording, while in the front, there’s a secondary VGA camera for video calls.

It is also worth mentioning that the smartphone sports a large enough 4.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution.

When it comes to connectivity, the L65 offers the full package, including 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS with A-GPS support. Last but not least, the device is powered by a 2100 mAh battery, which has yet to be rated by the manufacturer.

On a side note, the single-SIM version of LG L65 is expected to arrive in Spain in the coming days, but it will be launched in other European countries as well. It will go on sale in both black and white colors.
