Mobile phone users in China can now purchase a new version of the LG G3 flagship handset in their country, one that arrives on shelves with dual-SIM capabilities inside.

The new smartphone has been officially announced for this market today with model number D858 attached to it, and with support for 4G TD-LTE networks there.

Moreover, the mobile phone features dual-SIM with Dual Active capabilities, which means that users will be able to enjoy simultaneous data and voice calling capabilities on it.

Apparently, this is the main change in this smartphone model when compared to the original device, though it should be enough to attract a lot of users on its side, that’s for sure.

As a recent article on ePrice reads, the new device variant has been released in China via JD.com with a price tag of 3,999 Yuan ($650/€485) attached to it. The smartphone can be purchased in Titanium Black and Moonlight White colors versions.

Unfortunately, no info on the phone’s possible release on other markets out there has been provided as of now, but chances are that LG will try to bring it to more countries soon, as dual-SIM smartphones are very popular in many territories.

The dual-SIM LG G3 sports the same outer design as the previously released iteration did, and features a 5.5-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a Quad HD resolution, and is powered by a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 processor.

Paired with 3GB of RAM, the chipset will ensure that the smartphone can provide users with great performance capabilities, just as the single-SIM variant of LG G3 does.

The new mobile phone flavor also includes 32GB of internal memory, complemented by a microSD memory card slot with support for additional storage space.

On the back, the dual-SIM LG G3 sports a 13-megapixel camera with dual LED flash, Laser Auto Focus, and 4k video recording capabilities. Moreover, the handset sports a 2.1MP front camera for making video calls while on the go.

The specs list of LG G3 (D858) also includes a 2940mAh battery, along with the usual set of connectivity capabilities, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and the like. Moreover, the handset sports a built-in GPS receiver for navigation purposes.

The same as the single-SIM variant, the new dual-SIM LG G3 runs under the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, with LG’s own Optimus UI loaded on top, and with a nice set of exclusive applications and other customizations.

Apparently, LG has released the new device in China with support for its special Quick Circle Case cover, which allows users to access various device functions without opening it.
