14 DAY TRIAL // Shortly after announcing India's first true octa-core smartphone, the Aqua Octa, Intex released three new affordable Android smartphones: Aqua i2, Cloud Y3 and Y13.
As AndroidOS points out, customers can purchase the Intex Aqua i2, Cloud Y3 and Y13 via Amazon and Flipkart major retailers.
The affordable Intex smartphones are already available for Rs 8,499 ($135 / €100), Rs 4,890 ($80 / €55) and Rs 5,999 ($95 / €70), respectively.
It is also worth mentioning that all three smartphones ship with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and offer dual-SIM feature with dual standby support.
Obviously, judging by the price difference between Aqua i2 and the other two Intex handsets, the former comes with better features.
Still, Android fans should not expect Intex Aqua i2's specs to be impressive, as this is just a mid-range device. In this regard, the handset has been confirmed to sport a large 5-inch FWVGA capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 854 pixels resolution.
On the inside, the Aqua i2 is equipped with a 1.2 GHz dual core processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.
There's also a 5-megapixel main camera on the back and a 2-megapixel camera in the front, which is perfect for video calls. Other highlights of the phone include: FM Radio, 3G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, as well as 1,700 mAh Li-Ion battery.
Intex Cloud Y3 and Y13 have similar features with one exception, the latter also comes with 3G connectivity, whereas the former only offer 2G support.
That being said, both smartphones are powered by dual-core MediaTek processors clocked at 1.2 GHz and 512MB of RAM. They also sport 3.2-megapixel rear cameras and 1.3-megapixel front-facing photo snappers.
The Cloud Y3 and Y13 pack microSD card slots for memory expansion (up to 32GB) and are powered by 1,500 mAh Li-Ion batteries.
