The long-awaited Android 4.4.2 KitKat with Sense 6 update for HTC One M7 dual SIM has finally reached India. The update contains lots of new features and improvements, which will further enhance user experience.

The most important enhancement is the addition of Sense 6 UI, along with some system and power management improvements that should offer better life autonomy and performance.

Keep in mind that while the update will upgrade the Sense version, it will not change the Android iteration. As AndroidOS points out, the update should add Extreme Power Saving mode, color coded themes for easy navigation and personalized font styles.

The update also brings a new interface for Gallery and Camera, along with Timeline view for better photo management and support PIO (point of interest) location in Map view.

Some BlinkFeed improvements are included in the update as well, such as smooth continuous scrolling experience and a new intuitive interface to discover and add content.

The update is about 500MB in size, so we recommend dual-SIM HTC One M7 owners to download it via Wi-Fi network. Also, make sure your phone’s battery is at least half charged before trying to download and install the update.

In order to manually check for the Sense 6 update, you should head over to Settings / About phone / Software update and follow the guiding steps provided by HTC.
