The flash drive community is doing its best to end the year on a high note

Many OTG flash drives have been released these past few weeks, and Leef technology LTD is adding its name to the list of companies that have such a thing up for order, by releasing the Bridge 3.0.

USB OTG, or USB On-the-Go, is a standard that allows flash drives to recognize smartphones and tablets as hosts, like they would a PC.

To work, the phones and tablets in question need to support OTG as well, which means at least Android 4.0 or, in this case, 4.1 (Jelly Bean).

Anyway, the Bridge 3.0, unlike some of the other OTG flash drives released over the past few days, has support for USB 3.0 technology, not just USB 2.0.

On that note, Leed will only sell it through some RadioShack stores in the US for 60 days, starting on January 19, so keep that in mind if you're in the market for one.

The top transfer speed should be of up to 90 MB./s, which means that you can even play music and video straight from it, without having to copy the files to your tablet or smartphone.

"We're excited about the way the RadioShack team has embraced Leef Bridge 3.0," said Jonny Anderson, partner and director of product design at Leef.

"As one of the largest retailers of Android phones in North America, we believe the RadioShack team is uniquely positioned to demonstrate how easy it is to transfer files from an Android phone to another device with no cable, cloud service, Wi-Fi or data connection needed. Leef Bridge 3.0 is so simple it's beautiful."

Leef Bridge will have different prices depending on the capacity. The 16 GB model will bear a tag of $19.99 / €19.99, the 32 GB drive will ship for $34.99 / €34.99 and the 64 GB drive for $69.99 / €69.99.
