Drunk Firefighter in Bikini and Blonde Wig Arrested

While this doesn't quite verge on entertainment, it is good to see that even those who break the law know a thing or two about fashion. And, when they do cross paths with law enforcement, they do it in style and looking prettier than, say, Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie put together. Of course, we're talking about a man here but that doesn't mean that he should be crossed off the list of best-dressed gals just for this simple reason.

The story is as follows: Troy Harphant was out in the park, in Mason, with his wife and daughter to enjoy a day in the sun. At one point, as he was keeping an eye on his daughter, he saw what looked like either a very disgraceful woman or a much underdressed man apparently fondling or touching himself near the kids' playground. As he got up and was ready to start heading into the stranger's direction, a biker went by and scared him away (the stranger, that is).

Harphant then realized that what he was looking at was not a very ugly lady but a man dressed in a lady's bikini and blonde wig. He followed him as he got into his pickup truck (and saw it had red emergency lights on top) and called the cops. 'There's a man out here dressed up in a wig and women's two-piece bikini freaking people out in the park. It's inappropriate and I'd like somebody to come check this guy out. The guy is actually trying to leave the park now.', Harphant told the dispatcher.

When the uniforms arrived on the scene and after they exchanged a couple of words with the bikini-clad man, it became more than obvious that he was heavily intoxicated. In a very slurred speech and being hardly able to stand on his own two feet, the man told the officers that he was heading to a gay bar to compete as a woman for the $10,000 big prize. It was also obvious that he knew how to keep things trendy, as police officer Scott Miller duly noted: 'I observed Cole to be wearing a very skimpy woman's... bikini and two tan water balloons taped to the top to simulate two woman's breasts and a pair of pink Speedo flip-flop sandals'.

Steven S. Cole is a 46-year-old volunteer firefighter and, because the police officers found him under the influence and with an open container in his car, he is now liable to be charged with drunken driving, possession of an open container of alcohol, public indecency and disorderly conduct.
