The newly launched Mailbox, which promises to put a new type of inbox in your pocket, has received its first update since inception. Now owned by cloud service Dropbox, the application “makes email light, fast, and mobile-friendly.”

Mailbox lets you quickly swipe messages to your archive or trash bin, as well as scan an entire conversation with chat-like features.

You can use it to “snooze” emails and have them return to your inbox when you feel like reading them. All this and a lot of other cool features can be found in the free Mailbox app.

The first update to Mailbox is already available. Version 1.1.0 brings a shake-to-undo function, which enables users to whisk away typos by wiggling their device in the air.

It also brings some nifty user interface changes, which we won’t spoil for you, and the usual bug fixes and enhancements that any changelog ends with these days.
