The Dropbox application causes Nautilus to crash on Ubuntu 13.10

The Dropbox application for the Linux platform is currently unusable for Ubuntu 13.10 (Saucy Salamander).

The next version of Ubuntu 13.10 (Saucy Salamander) is scheduled for release on October 17, but it seems that the Dropbox application is not working as it should.

The new operating system from Canonical is no all that different from the previous Ubuntu 13.04 (Raring Ringtail), but the application has a problem with Nautilus (Files).

Every time the user tries to access the folder created by the application, Nautilus crashes and it needs to be restarted. The sync function works just fine, but users can't access their files in that particular folder. The only way to do that is to quit the application altogether, from the notification bar.

It's unclear whether this is a problem with the client or with Nautilus, but this is an extremely important app and people will be very disappointed if it's not working after the official release. We'll keep you up to date with any changes.
