Better handling of admin password in pre-authorized Mac installer

A fresh experimental build of Dropbox has been released today for Windows, Mac, and Linux, featuring minor changes in the user interface along with a couple of improvements for Windows XP and Mac OS X.

The developer informs that users of the dying Windows XP now benefit from a better font selection for the setup wizard. The operating system is scheduled for retirement on April 8 this year, after more than a decade of activity, which is when Microsoft will be dropping all efforts to maintain it (security hotfixes, support, or any other updates).

In the case of Mac systems, the modification consists of better handling of the admin password dialog in the pre-authorized installer.

If you download the Dropbox installation kit while signed into the website there will be no need to log in a second time, into the client.

Basically, the username and password are provided automatically with the first launch of the client in order to start the synchronization process immediately.

The developer also mentions that a batch of small fixes has been integrated in the current Experimental build (2.7.32) but there are no details about what these fixes might relate to.
