14 DAY TRIAL // Another build for Dropbox Experimental has surfaced, bringing to the table improvements for the import feature on systems running OS X and fixing a crash problem.
As far as Mac users are concerned, Dropbox Experimental 1.3.17 no longer imports media files if the screen is locked.
According to the developer’s notes, this release should remember the “always import” setting per each device. One crash issue has been eliminated in this build, which occurred upon launching the Dropbox folder.
Another modification currently available is consistent names for cameras which shoot RAW/JPG pairs in the same second.
Increasing your Dropbox space by 5GB for free is still available. All you have to do is upload your images from your camera or phone using the “import” feature of the application.
