Dropbox Inc. is tackling some issues with the latest release of its desktop client, while the cloud company offers an updated iOS client too. Both are mostly maintenance updates, however the desktop release also includes some additional changes.

In a quick forum post, Dropboxer Alicia C. reveals that Dropbox 2.6.29 “Fixes an issue where the second account would get unlinked if email associated with account changes” and includes some “Changes to camera uploads splash.” Nothing specific is mentioned UI-wise.

Alicia also reveals the key additions in the Dropbox 2.6.x branch (for those who haven’t updated in a while), including dual-account support, a redesigned setup wizard, the ability to pause syncing from the tray popup, new installers for Mac and Windows, and a more responsive selective sync UI.

Dropbox also released version 3.1.2 of the iOS client recently, delivering “bug fixes and performance improvements” across the board. Customers require an iOS 7-compatible device to download the new Dropbox for iPhone and iPad. The desktop client only requires a decent computer, while a Dropbox account can be created for free using any device.
