14 DAY TRIAL // Dropbox Inc. is out with the first development snapshot of Dropbox 2.6.0, the company’s upcoming major new update for users of the popular cloud service.
Released hours ago as a Release Candidate (RC) build, Dropbox 2.6.0 is not to be used for productivity purposes, as the software could be scattered with bugs.
Dropbox Inc. has included a redesigned Setup Wizard, the ability to Pause Syncing from the tray popup, new Installers for Mac and Windows users (nothing of the sort for the Linux camp, apparently), and a “significantly more responsive” Selective Sync user interface, according to the release notes.
