The stable version of Dropbox received an update today, to build 2.4.1.0. The fresh revision does not incorporate new features and focuses instead on fixing up some of the glitches from the previous versions.

The developer informs that the issue with incorrect throttling in highly variable Internet connections has been repaired.

Also, a bug that caused re-initiating the synchronization operation in case of database errors should no longer occur; however, this was a glitch recorded only on rare occasions.

Another problem that has been dealt with refers to a memory leak in the file management tool available on Mac systems, Finder; this was also a rare glitch that did not affect all users.

Apart from this, the official release notes state that additional minor bugs have been squashed as well, although there are no specifics available.
