Dropbox 2.1.16 Client Improves CPU and Memory Usage on Linux

Dropbox, a client for an online service that lets you bring all your photos, docs, and videos anywhere, no matter the platform, is now at version 2.1.16.

Dropbox 2.1.16 is an experimental version and it is way ahead of the stable branch. It brings a lot of new features, but keep in mind that not all of them will make it into the final version.

Highlights of Dropbox 2.1.16:

• An issue, that caused the LAN sync to be displayed improperly, has been fixed;
• A bug, that could have caused high CPU and memory usage on Linux, has been fixed;
• An issue, that could have caused Dropbox to stop syncing, if configuration files were removed, has been corrected;
• A few other minor fixes have been implemented.
