The new updates made to DropTask increase its efficiency

Earlier this month we took DropTask for a spin, a task manager that outsmarts many similar tools and most certainly makes it easier for anyone to coordinate over the Internet with an entire team.

Recently, the developers added some new nifty features to the tool, making it even more efficient and easy to work with.

One of the most important things to have been added recently is the DropTask integration with several Google services.

For instance, you can very easily enable synchronizing between DropTask, Google Tasks and Google Calendar.

Once this happens, the calendar will include all tasks from the projects that have an assigned due date. Furthermore, rescheduling any of them can be done straight from the calendar by dragging and dropping them within the Google tool.

This can be particularly useful when handling numerous tasks at once and when you’re swarmed with work and the number of tabs opened in your browser.

Another cool feature was created for the list view. Now, aside from listing the projects you’re working on and the tasks based on their priority level, it’s also possible to add new tasks straight from here, without having to go back to the diagrams.

The added tasks can be assigned to any of the work groups you created, which makes everything that much easier.

As always, rearranging the items is very easy since you can drag and drop them to the desired location, even between priority categories.

Visual indicators have also been added to the list view tasks, reminding users how long ago an item has been assigned a certain priority. This is particularly useful for those tasks that should have been completed quickly, but are stalling in queue for a long time.

Overall, the updates brought to DropTask only serve to enhance the tool’s functionality and to make managing projects a lot easier.
