Do you feel like the minutes of the day just slide through your fingers and you never seem to finish all the things you set out to do in the first place?

You’re not the only one. We’re all trying to navigate this complex stream of events that represents the social environment and we try to do it the best way we can. However, sometimes we need a little help in organizing things.

Humans are visual beings, so creating charts to outline your daily workload might be the solution to ensure you don’t leave anything out of your daily schedule.

DropTask re-thinks the to-do list

DropTask is an application that allows users to visualize their tasks in a unique, interesting, not to mention intuitive way.

The app has been available for iOS (iPhone, iPad, iMac) for some time now, but a few days ago the Android version of DropTask quietly slipped in the Google Play store and is up for download right now.

DropTaks utilizes nested circles that represent the different activities you have set out throughout the day, which are placed on flowcharts.

If you’re not particularly keen on looking at a bunch of circles, there’s the option of viewing the to-do items as a list, but the flowchart scenario might prove really useful because it transforms your workload into some sort of map, letting you visualize things even better.

What’s more, you can assign different collaborators to different tasks and you can see their pictures hovering over the circles as they are busy working on the project.

If you want the whole slew of features, you need to pay for them

The free version allows you to set up only five projects and you can get only one collaborator onboard. The pro version offers unlimited access plus a bunch of extra offers, including new themes, cover images and email task integration.

The applications comes with a 30-day trial of pro, but then you’ll need to pay up to $6.50 / €5.26 per month to get the same experience.

DropTask’s key features include instant notifications each time a change is made to a project, due date assignment so you won’t miss a deadline, visual task attributes which let you assign status, urgency, importance and effort to each task.

Visibility settings let you make public or private projects, and the DropTask Inbox makes task creation easy.

The pro version adds a bunch of extra features including the ability to comment on tasks, the possibility to create subtasks, copying and moving different tasks between projects or of emailing tasks straight in.
