What do you do when snapping selfies becomes too main stream or too boring for you? Well, some people might turn to another way of “artistic” self-expression like “thermie” or “hottie.”

A thermie is when you take a picture of the heat emanating from your body using an infrared camera that attaches to the back of your smartphone. But what if you quickly get tired of such a thing? After all, it doesn’t really sound too exciting.

You take things to the next level, of course. Well, provided you have a Drone and a GoPro camera to help you along with your quest for the ultimate selfie.

Matt Benedetto came up with a kooky way of snapping some images of himself. He attached his GoPro camera to his drone and went out to seek a breath-taking place like a bosky cliff surrounded by water.

Once there, he turned on the GoPro and made sure it was facing the opposite way the drone was supposed to fly, after which he released the flying shooter. The results? You can see them below.

The drone captures the master up front for a few seconds before going off into the sunset, while still keeping an eye on the man with the remote. The scenery is pretty gorgeous too, check it out.
