Hurray! The long-awaited new generation of motherboards surfaces and the first one on our website is the Asrock Z77 Extreme4-M.

This new board comes with Intel's Z77 chipset (as it's very name says) and can accommodate both 2nd generation of Sandybridge CPUs and the unlocked K-series processors. The maximum supported memory reaches an impressive 32 GB limit, with 1600 MHz normal speed and a staggering 2800 upper threshold in overclocked mode.

The Intel HD 2500/ 4000 chips delivers extended support for high-definition multimedia and promises a smooth 1080p experience with Blu-ray media, while offering support for most of the contemporary technologies (Auto Lip Sync, Deep Color, HBR, HDCP and so on).

Users get SATA3 6Gb/s ports from both Intel and ASMedia, and no less than 6 USB 3.0 ports for the ultimate speed and convenience. Nvidia Quad SLI/ SLI and AMD Quad-CrossFirex, 3-way CrossFireX and CrossFireX are supported, as expected.

Tweaking and overclocking is made easy using all the bundled Asrock software, so those looking for extreme performance will be able to have their way with the Asrock Z77 Extreme4-M.
