The free Driveclub Japan expansions is set to appear today, January 19, and includes five impressive tracks. Ahead of their debut, developer Evolution presents the final two gameplay videos in the recurring series that focuses on the impressive stages.

Driveclub made its debut back in October of last year, and while it benefited from a pretty big delay, it still encountered a lot of issues on the PS4 platform due to multiplayer issues and server outages that severely affected its promise of a social racing experience.

After many updates, developer Evolution managed to get the game to play well online and started rolling out a variety of free downloadable content, in the form of new cars or features, like the weather mode.

The Japan DLC launches today

Now, the biggest free add-on yet is set to appear today, January 19, all over the world, in the form of the Japan DLC that includes five free tracks for all Driveclub owners to enjoy.

Evolution has already presented gameplay videos with the first three stages included in the add-on, from Takahagi Hills to Lake Shoji or Nakasendo.

Now, the final two tracks in the add-on, Goshodaira and Asagiri Highlights, have received their own great gameplay videos that depict the sprawling levels in all their glory. Besides the impressive environments, the trailers also depict two new cars coming to the racing game, in the form of the McLaren 650S and the Caterham R500 Superlight.

A new car pack is set to debut next week

What's more, while Driveclub is getting the free add-on later today, on January 27, in north America, and January 29, in Europe, the Apex Expansion pack is set to appear, and it includes a series of great cars, among which the aforementioned models but also the Jaguar C-X75 Concept, Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Centennial Edition, and the Ferrari Enzo.

Expect to hear more about the new DLC in the following week. This one will be a premium expansion, meaning that regular owners of the game have to pay for it while Season Pass users will get it for free.

Until then, check out the new videos below.
