I am very superstitious, so I never walk under a ladder, or put my high heels while I am driving. But this pair of shoes are special.

We all know how uncomfortable it is to drive when wearing high heels, but that thing is going to change soon. If you've ever experienced the "ordeal" of looking for the proper shoes for driving, then you should check out these funky shoes.

The company offers us not one, but two pairs of glamorous shoes in one. The latest fashion item may not be the ideal choice to make when it comes to controlling your motor vehicle, while driving to a party.

Since Sheila's Wheels decided to launch the Driving Heels on the market, all we have to do is to wait for the price tag. If you are wondering what's so special about these, you should know that they are a new footwear design concept that aims to make all the women safer and more comfortable behind the wheel.

Anyway, the pair of shoes is capable of transforming into a stylish pair of heels at the push of the button. The innovative design aims to eliminate any deficiency caused by driving in heels, including the tendency to get caught under the pedal, not to mention the uncomfortable position that results form wearing them.

According to Gizmag, recent surveys have shown that 10 % of the female motorists admit that they were on the verge of having a car accident, because of their shoes, while the 'Safe Shoes' report commissioned by Sheila's Wheels found that 80% of female drivers "wear inappropriate footwear when in control of a car".

"It's astonishing that so many women are putting themselves, their passengers and other drivers at risk by wearing the wrong shoe or no shoe at all whilst behind the wheel. Stilettos, sling-backs and strappy sandals aren't the sensible choice when it comes to controlling a car."

"Our Sheila Driving Heel design could provide safety-conscious female motorists with the ultimate driving shoe - allowing women to wear a safe flat shoe whilst driving, and a fashionable heel once they are out of the car."

With so many good things said about them, the shoes are definitely going to stir envy in the fashion industry. Or maybe Jimmy Choo will do some too, hopefully!
